City of Yarra pedestrian light set for female revamp

The City of Yarra is getting in on International Women’s Day, announcing one ‘little green man’ will be replaced.

In May, the pedestrian light at Bridge road and Bosisto street will feature the silhouette of a woman.

Specifically, the outline of Cr Mary Rogers, Victoria’s first female councillor.

Yarra mayor Roberto Colanzi told Tom Elliott he would like to see more female traffic lights.
