Climate protesters to cause chaos in the CBD as Victorians battle floods

Climate protesters have denied it’s in bad taste to cause chaos in Melbourne’s CBD while many Victorians battle floods, saying “it’s exactly why” they’re protesting in the first place.

Those trying to commute to and from the city can expect significant delays as protesters demand action on climate change.

“Yes, there will be some disruption, which is an inherent feature of any good protest,” Brad Homewood from Extinction Rebellion told Tom Elliott.
