Clyde North residents enduring ‘absolute nightmare’ as roadworks stretch on

Residents in a housing estate in Melbourne’s south-east say they’re enduring “an absolute nightmare” due to roadworks which have been ongoing for almost 18 months.
Residents in the Cascades on Clyde and Selandra Rise estates in Clyde North say 10 minute trips are now taking longer than 45 minutes due to delays caused by the roadworks.
Cascades on Clyde resident Kevin told 3AW’s Jacqui Felgate it’s “getting beyond a joke”.

Casey, another resident, said “it’s an absolute nightmare”.
Residents haven’t been able to get any answers from VicRoads or the council, and fear it’s only a matter of time before a person dies because an ambulance can’t reach them.
