Coburg North motel slammed by guests online
Motel guests have expressed their fear and dismay after realising a Melbourne motel doubles as an ex-prisoner half way house.
The Stay Inn Motel in Coburg North describes its accommodation as having a friendly environment for budget travellers.
But in reality guests are being confronted with dirty rooms, a barbed wire fence and broken doors.
The motel fails to describe in its advertising blurb that it doubles as accommodation for homeless people waiting for public housing and recently released prisoners.
Outraged guests have taken to the internet to describe their unpleasant experiences.
‘Avoid at all costs if you value your life,’ says one unhappy guest.
Photos uploaded on trip advisor by travellers show a used condom in a bedroom and a knife at the bottom of the pool.
