Coffee company has taken ‘massive’ risk with loyal customers

Moccona has taken a “massive” risk by an apparent change to the recipe of one of its instant coffee selections, according to one Melbourne coffee guru.

The coffee company has been “roasted” by hundreds of customers online over its blend of classic medium roast (No.5).

Salvatore Malatesta, from St Ali coffee, told Tom Elliott it was a very risky move.

“You can’t really change somebody’s daily drug habit without pissing them off,” he said.
