Coles in Coburg North trials ‘senior only’ car parks

Coles in Coburg North has started trialling ‘senior only’ car parks in a move the supermarket chain says could become widespread.

Eight parking spaces have been reserved out the front of the store.

Coles Spokesperson Martine Alpins told Neil Mitchell it was based on an ‘honesty’ system.

She said the company was seeking feedback from customers on a range of new things Coles is hoping will improve ‘customer experience’ and this was simply one.

‘If it’s something our customers like, we’ll certainly consider introducing it at other stores, as well,’ she said on 3AW Mornings.
