Coles set to trial drone delivery service in Queensland

Coles are set to trial drone delivery services in some suburbs on the Gold Coast.

Drone delivery company, Wing, is partnering with Coles to help get the service underway.

General Manager at Wing Australia, Simon Rossi, spoke to Tom Elliott on the logistics of the service.

“They are designed to carry smaller loads, so we carry about one kilogram per delivery,” Mr Rossi said.

“There is 500 of the most popular products from a Coles store that will be made available for delivery via drone.”
