Coles to stop selling knives after employee allegedly stabbed

Coles has confirmed to 3AW they will stop selling kitchen knives in their stores after an employee was allegedly attacked earlier this week.
An employee at a store in Queensland was allegedly stabbed by a 13-year boy on Monday, prompting swift action by the major supermarket.
In a statement from Coles, the decision to stop selling knives was taken “out of an abundance of caution”.
