Thousands of Victorians between Mildura and Shepparton will no longer be able to gather their own firewood from public land starting this winter.

Campers will take a huge hit from this, forcing them to bring their firewood with them.

Ross and John spoke to Alan McGreevey, from the Firewood Association of Australia about the changes.

When Ross asked Alan why the ban was in place, he didn’t seem to know – ‘Why it’s in place? I don’t know. It seems to be very counter-intuitive’.
