Collingwood on verge of re-signing Nathan Buckley as coach

Collingwood will re-appoint Nathan Buckley as coach, says Sam ‘Scoop’ McClure.

‘It’s just a matter of how long,’ the 3AW newsbreaker said on Sports Today.

McClure said ‘everyone’ on Collingwood’s board had agreed to grant Buckley an extension.

‘It’s going to be either a one-year extension ? giving him 16-17 ? or they give him another two,’ Scoop explained.

He said the move would be ticked off once president Eddie McGuire returned overseas.
