Commuters detail horrific conditions on Melbourne roads

Commuters have reported they’re experiencing chaos on Melbourne roads with commutes in some cases almost doubling.

Caller Jaclyn says her commute to work has almost doubled and public transport is unreliable.

“I can leave at six am, and still take an hour or an hour and a half … there’s no rhyme or reason for this,” she told Jacqui Felgate.

Kim says drivers in the west are constantly confused with lanes changing due to the big build.

“Lanes are constantly changing, the conditions are changing, exits are closing then they’re open. There’s now a concrete bollard separating some lanes from other lanes,” she said.
