Our partners at Lexus of Blackburn have teamed up with Jacqui Felgate’s Drive program to promote “Driving Good,” a segment dedicated to supporting the 3AW community.

In “Driving Good”, we share the heartfelt stories of our listeners and providing (provide) financial assistance to help ease their hardships.

With our most recent “Driving Good”, Jacqui Felgate broadcasted live from the Mount Waverley Cricket Club and Waverley Blues Football and Netball Club for a campaign to help Courtney, whose son Jensen had been diagnosed with brain cancer.

Jacqui, joined by Lexus of Blackburn ambassador Ricky Ponting and the sporting clubs managed to raise over $25,000 to help the family and Jensen’s family expenses.

Another story from the campaign featured Daniel, who had his car stolen and his wheelchair badly damaged. Thanks to the generosity of Lexus of Blackburn, he received a replacement vehicle and had his wheelchair fully restored!

Here’s another great example of how Lexus of Blackburn is helping people in our community.

Nurse Keira, a young nurse at the Austin Hospital, had over $1000 worth of items stolen from the boot of her car while it was parked at the hospital she works at.

She mentioned she couldn’t park anywhere else due to safety concerns. Lexus of Blackburn has kindly offered $800 in vouchers to help her replace the stolen goods.
