‘Complete deterioration’: Ex-cop slams state of Victoria as he launches political bid

After more than 40 years on the frontline with Victoria Police, former police commander Paul O’Halloran is trading his uniform for a political campaign.

Standing as the Liberal candidate for the key seat of Mordialloc, O’Halloran is taking aim at what he calls Victoria’s “broken” justice system.

Speaking with Tom Elliott, O’Halloran explained his drive to enter the political arena, saying “I want my children and grandchildren to live in a safe environment with an economy that is thriving”.
