Sussan Ley takes aim at ‘reckless’ Tasmanian Labor party, clarifies reason behind name change

The Tasmanian Labor party have received a lot of backlash over their no-confidence motion against Premier Jeremy Rockliff which has put the 19th AFL team in danger.
Federal opposition leader Sussan Ley joined 3AW Mornings and was asked about her thoughts on the situation which unfolded within the Tasmanian state government.
“It’s a power-grab, plain and simple by a reckless Labor leader who is overreaching,” Ley told Tom Elliott.

“To simply do what they have done is a complete disgrace.”
She also finally clarified the real reason behind her infamous name change, conceding she made a “flippant” remark to a journalist in a 2015 interview where she put it down to numerology.
