The shadow Attorney-General says recent changes to bail laws in Victoria has “removed accountability” for serious offenders.

Michael O’Brien made the comments after it emerged a Glen Iris teenager accused of being involved in a fatal car crash in Burwood breached bail conditions.

“They’ve completely removed accountability for people breaching bail conditions in the criminal justice system,” Mr O’Brien told Heidi Murphy on 3AW Drive.
