‘Completely unacceptable’: McDonalds slammed as the company faces HUGE class action

McDonald’s is facing a $100 million class action, as the Shop, Distributive and Allied Employees Association launch the claim in the Federal Court on behalf of 25,000 managers and supervisors working across 1,000 stores.
Employees claim they were forced to work before and after their rostered shift, and Union National Secretary Gerard Dwyer told Tony Jones it’s “completely unacceptable”.
“We’ll be bringing evidence to show there was no accident in this, this was systematic, it was deliberate, and those people are owed that money,” Mr Dwyer said.
