‘Concerning trend’: Skyrocketing power bills hitting households hard

An increasing number of Victorians are having their power cut off due to skyrocketing energy bills.

The Energy and Water Ombudsman, Catherine Wolthuizen, says last week alone the office received 434 complaints.

“It’s a concerning trend and we do think it is part of that wider cost of living pressure that so many people are facing,” Ms Wolthuizen told Ross and Russel.
