Concerns about ‘buy now, pay later’ schemes being available at the pub

There are concerns about “buy now, pay later” schemes being available at pubs and clubs.

It’s claimed it is fraught with danger.

“Alcohol is an impairing and addictive substance, so we’ve got the potential for financial harm and financial troubles, and there is also the potential that people will drink more and there will be an increase in alcohol-related harm, as well,” Dr Hannah Bereznicki, Research Fellow at Deakin University’s Centre for Drug, Alcohol, and Addiction Research, told 3AW Drive.
