Concerns over COVID surge in build-up to Christmas

Victorians are being implored to wear masks when possible in crowded indoor spaces, with COVID cases surging.

It’s triggered a response that could result in healthcare workers have Christmas holiday leave cancelled.

“The impact on the hospital system is there now,” Dr Tim Read from the Greens told 3AW on Monday.
