There’s concerns over the State Government’s proposed reforms to the Residential Tenancies Act.

Board Director of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria Leah Calnan spoke with Tom Elliott about the changes.

‘The proposed changes could have adverse effects on land lords.

‘Those changes don’t allow the bond to be higher for potential damage caused (by pets),’ Ms Calnan said on 3AW Drive.

Tom Elliott says he is severely allergic to cats and dogs and wouldn’t want a pet contaminating the property he owns.
