Concerns over teens using Tinder

Cyber safety experts are warning of the potential dangers of online predators after it was revealed a growing number of teens are using dating app Tinder.

Teenagers, as young as 13, are using the app to boast about how many match ups they receive.

Cyber safety expert Susan McLean told 3AW News there was no way of knowing who you are communicating with on the app.

‘Somebody was saying they’ll only match with people the same age – what a load of rubbish,’ she said.

‘Anyone can be anyone online.

‘It will absolutely give adults access to young children.’
