Concerns have been raised over the state of Southern Cross Station, with lots of stores either closed or gone completely.

Neil Mitchell labelled the station a “ghost town” with 3AW Mornings producer Katherine Powell going down to the station to see how lively it was, with grim results.

“It’s not looking particularly healthy over here at Southern Cross,” Ms Powell said.

Chief Executive of the Victoria Chamber of Commerce, Paul Guerra, then spoke on what he would do to fix the station.

“It has the appearance that perhaps it’s dirtier than what other parts of the CBD are,” Mr Guerra told Neil Mitchell.
