There is concern too many children are being diagnosed with ADHD, simply because they are immature.
New research shows the youngest child in the classroom is the most likely to be medicated for the psychiatric disorder.
Dr Martin Whitely from Curtin University says it’s too coincidental.
‘There’s no other rationale for it,’ he told 3AW News.
‘It’s extremely concerning.’
