Conditions of regional roads sees repair businesses booked out for ‘weeks’

Tyre repair businesses are booming as the conditions of Victorian regional roads continue to deteriorate.

Manager of A1 Tyrepower in Wangratta, Harrison Coatsworth, says the businesses getting two to three calls a day about damaged tyres due to potholes.

“We’re just seeing so much … rim damages where the rim repair guys around this area here are booked-out a couple weeks in advance and then on top of that we’re seeing … damaged tyres but the rims are the big one,” he told Neil Mitchell.
