CONFIRMED: Patrick Dangerfield to leave Adelaide Crows

CONFIRMED: Patrick Dangerfield has asked to leave Adelaide.

The brilliant midfielder, named in the 2015 All Australian team last night, told the Crows on Wednesday he wants to return to Victoria.

Adelaide issued a press release, revealing Dangerfield’s intention to exercise his free agency rights.

‘Whilst disappointing, we understand that Patrick’s decision has been made for personal reasons,’ the club said in a statement.

‘We will now consider our options, however, our members and supporters should rest assured that in doing so we will make decisions and take action that is in the best interests of our football club.’
