Consumers warned of price inflation as popular fruit faces potential shortage

Despite concerns about a potential shortage of mangos due to a warmer winter, consumers have been told there will be plenty available for Christmas.

Director of Red Rich Fruits, Matt Palise says, due to delays, shoppers should expect some price inflation.

“I think they’ll still be very, very good value for that … delicious experience at home,” he told 3AW Breakfast.
