Cops using Boronia driveway to catch speedsters

Police using a residential driveway in Boronia to catch speedsters are causing a bit of a headache for the residents.

Jenny, who contacted 3AW Mornings on behalf of her friend who lives there, said her friend had recently moved to the property and police officers were blocking off her driveway.

She said apparently it happened to the previous owners too.

“A couple of times she has gone out and said to them, you need to move I have to get my kids to school,” she told Tony Jones.

It sparked a mixed reaction from 3AW listeners, some saying they’d welcome a police car in their driveway keeping speeding drivers in check.
