Corio teen allegedly caught speeding on way to spray tan appointment

A Corio teenager has had her car impounded after being caught speeding to a beauty appointment.

The woman, 19, was pulled over on the Geelong Ring Road on Friday night, allegedly travelling at 155kp/h in a 100 zone.

When asked why she was speeding, she told police she was running late for a spray tan appointment.

She’s expected to be charged on summons with speeding and other traffic-related offences.
