‘Could not believe it’: Woolworths shopper in disbelief after exposing price gouging

Woolworths has been called out for misleading shoppers over supposed ‘discount’ items.

A photo sent to 3AW Drive shows one bottle of shampoo being sold at a ‘discount’ rate at the supermarket in Bright, despite the original price being cheaper than what was being advertised.

“I could not believe it,” Taylor, who took the photo, told Jacqui Felgate.

“I just have complete disappointment with the large supermarkets, everyone should be mindful when shopping to make sure you’re not being ripped off.”
