Council could vote to close three key roads to cars tonight

The City of Yarra Council is voting to close three major thoroughfares without any community consultation.

It’s left one councillor fuming.

Wellington Street, Trennery Crescent and Coppin Street (subject to approval) are the streets in question.

The vote will take place on Tuesday night.

Cr Stephen Jolly spoke with Tom Elliott about it on Tuesday afternoon.
