Council covers skate parks in bark and sand to stop COVID-19 rules being flouted

Bayside City Council has filled in several skate parks with sand and bark to stop skaters, scooters and bikers from breaching COVID-19 restrictions.

Clarke Martin, the local mayor, told Tom Elliott there was a small section of the community which was still using the local facilities far too regularly

“There’s a small minority who still hasn’t got it,” he explained.
