The City of Moreland will look to reduce the maximum heigh of a man-made BMX jump to 40 centimetres.

Councillor Oscar Yildiz told Tom Elliott it was about “health and safety”.

“Mainly it’s to protect vegetation and also the users of the parks,” he said on 3AW Drive.

“The biggest issue that I see is if someone else is using the park and falls over the man-made jump then what’s the consequences?”
