Council Watch’s Dean Hurlston has launched an extraordinary attack directed at Melbourne lord mayor Sally Capp.

He has called on the Lord Mayor to stop “taking selfies at every event” and instead fix some of the CBD’s problems, which could be actively turning people away from coming into the city.

“With the greatest of respect to (Lord Mayor) Sally Capp, we are sick and tired of her taking selfies at every event and festival,” he told Tony Moclair on 3AW Afternoons.

“She doesn’t want to talk about the fact that Melbourne is dirty, full of graffiti, crime infested, unsafe and not somewhere you want to take young kids.”
