Council worker threatened with knife after confronting owner of vicious dog

A council worker and police have been threatened by the knife-wielding owner of a vicious dog.

Following a dog attack on Sunday, a council worker attended the owner’s Shepparton home, and was threatened with a knife.

Police then attended the address on Monday, where they were allegedly forced to deploy OC spray on the man.

He has been taken into police custody.
