A councillor in Melbourne’s south east has revealed she’s not allowed to speak to council staff after questioning a decision made by the council.

Nepean Ward councillor for the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council, Susan Bissinger, says she sent an email internally and questioned the response she got back

“I got another email back that said they were going to start flying the uni-sex pride flag, permanently at all council offices, so I asked the question, ‘Really? Is this the right thing to do?’ she told Tom Elliott.
