Country publican reacts to regional restrictions easing

Country publicans have rejoiced after the Victorian government’s latest easing of regional restrictions.

They can open, albeit at limited capacity, from Wednesday.

“We’ll make the best we can of it,” Ray Sharaware, who owns Bendigo’s Hotel Shamrock, told Neil Mitchell.

“We’ve been dying to open and our staff have been dying to get back to work.”
