Couple buys homes for their young children … is it a good idea?

A Melbourne couple is so concerned about rapidly rising property prices they’ve made the decision to buy two Sunbury homes for their pre-school aged kids.

And while most people simply could not afford to do the same, Tom Elliott had a broader question.

Is it a good idea.

He questioned whether the girls would try as hard at school, and life in general, knowing they had a home already to their name.

He spoke with Geoff White, Head of Real Estate at CoreLogic Australia Head of Real Estate, about the move.
