Court rules Rebel Wilson must repay multi-million dollar payout

Actress Rebel Wilson has been ordered to repay Bauer Media, after the publisher successfully appealed her record defamation payout.

The Hollywood star has been ordered to pay the company more than $4 million, as well as $60,000 in interest.

She must also foot 80% of the cost of Bauer’s appeal.

The Court of Appeal has found Ms Wilson failed to prove she suffered financially.
