COVID-19 fragments detected in north east Victoria

COVID-19 fragments have been detected in north east Victoria.

The government says a “weak detection” was picked up in wastewater at Mt Beauty on February 1.

It may be from a person who is shedding the virus.

Regardless, anybody with symptoms who’s been in the area is being urged to get tested.
