COVID-19 fragments have been found in wastewater at Sunbury.

The health department put out advice on Friday afternoon.

While it’s likely to be viral shedding, given there hasn’t been a community case in two weeks, people in the area are being told to monitor for symptoms.

Anybody with COVID-19 symptoms, no matter how mild, is urged to get tested immediately.
