COVID-19 latest: Moderna vaccine arrives as Victoria records 567 new local cases
Another Victorian with COVID-19 has died.
It comes as the state recorded 567 new local COVID-19 cases.
There are now 5675 active cases across the state.
There are 209 Victorians in hospital with COVID-19, 59 of those receiving intensive care.
40 people need a ventilator to breathe.
86 per cent of people in hospital have not received a vaccination.
There were 39,939 vaccine doses administered at state-run hubs yesterday and 50,915 test results received.
Daniel Andrews said the Moderna vaccine would become available in Victoria later this week, with 300,000 doses arriving.
