COVID-19: Woman in her 50s dies as Victoria records 510 new cases
A Victorian woman with COVID-19 has died.
The woman was in her 50s.
It comes as the state recorded 510 new locally-acquired COVID-19 cases yesterday.
Of the new local cases, 386 have not yet been linked to known cases or outbreaks.
There was also one new overseas-acquired case in hotel quarantine.
There are 208 people in Victorian hospitals with COVID-19. Of those, 87 per cent are no vaccinated, 12 per cent are partially vaccinated and two people are fully vaccinated.
There are now 4697 active cases of the virus in the state.
There were 43,993 vaccine doses administered at state-run hubs yesterday and 55,476 test results received.
Of the 510 local cases, 124 have so far been linked to known cases and outbreaks. Further case information will be provided this morning. [2/2]
