COVID-19 latest: Victoria records 603 new local coronavirus cases

Victoria has recorded 603 new local cases of COVID-19.

And another person with COVID-19 has died.

There are now 6000 active cases of coronavirus in the state.

In positive news, another 40,811 doses of vaccine were administered on Monday.

There are 241 people in hospital with COVID-19 in Victoria, 60 of those receiving intensive care.

39 of those patients need a ventilator to breathe.

85 per cent of people with COVID-19 in hospital have not received a dose of a vaccine.
