COVID-19: Victoria records highest daily case number in more than a year
Victoria recorded 120 new locally-acquired COVID-19 cases yesterday.
It’s the highest daily case number recorded in the state since August 2020.
Of the new cases, 56 are not yet linked to known outbreaks.
Sadly, two Victorians died with COVID-19 yesterday.
There were 33,455 vaccine doses administered at state-run hubs yesterday and 56,501 test results received.
Of the 120 locally acquired cases, 64 have been linked to known cases and outbreaks. Further case information will be provided this morning. [2/2]
