COVID-19 vaccination mandate for ‘hundreds of thousands of Victorians’

All Victorians on the authorised worker list must have their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine by October 15 in order to continue working on-site.

All authorised workers will need to be fully vaccinated by November 26.

Announcing the vaccine mandate, Premier Daniel Andrews said it’ll impact “literally hundreds of thousands of Victorians”.

The new vaccine deadlines do not apply to workers who already have vaccine mandates, with existing vaccine timelines still applying for the construction, freight, healthcare aged care and education sectors.
