COVID-19: Victoria records 221 new local cases
Victoria recorded 221 new locally-acquired COVID-19 cases yesterday.
Of the new cases, 123 have not yet been linked to known outbreaks or cases.
The total number of active cases in the state is now 1920.
Of the active cases, 86 per cent are aged under 50.
There are 120 people in Victorian hospitals with COVID-19. Of those, 33 are in intensive care and 15 are on a ventilator.
There were 36,716 vaccine doses administered at state-run clinics yesterday and 42,429 test results received.
Of the 221 local cases, 98 have so far been linked to known cases and outbreaks. Further case information will be provided this morning. [2/2]
