Victoria recorded 473 new local COVID-19 cases yesterday.

Of the new cases, 202 are linked to known cases and outbreaks.

There are now 3507 active cases across the state.

There are 157 people in Victorian hospitals with COVID-19, 38 of those receiving intensive care.

26 people need a ventilator to breathe.

There is nobody in hospital with COVID-19 in Victoria who has been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.

There were 30,032 vaccine doses administered at state-run hubs yesterday and 49,037 test results received.

66.9 per cent of eligible Victorians have now received their first dose.

The Victorian Government has also announced a COVID-19 “compliance blitz” on the construction sector, which continues to operate in lockdown, despite a significant number of cases linked to sites.

“The time for warnings and admonishment is over,” Tim Pallas said.
