Crash ruptures fire hydrant, sending water shooting into the air

A fire hydrant has been ruptured in a minor car accident in Dandenong this morning sending water high into the air.

It’s believed the car went onto the nature strip and crashed into a fire hydrant on the Princes Highway, near a caryard.

Water has hit powerlines.

Traffic is chaotic in the area.
