Cricket club booted from historic home ground

The Hanging Rock Cricket Club is looking for a new home after it was booted under a new master plan for the area.

It’s been there since 1903.

Clinton Sterlson, member of the Hanging Rock Cricket Club, told Ross and Russel it was extremely disappointing news.

“Basically they’re going to turn where the ground is now into wetlands and picnic benches,” he said.
