Crime scene set up after man dies in Thomastown stabbing

A crime scene has been set up after a man was fatally stabbed in Melbourne’s north on Thursday night.

Police were called to a property on Victoria Drive in Thomastown at about 8:40pm, but were unable to revive the individual after CPR was administered.

A 45-year-old Glenroy man at the scene and he remains in custody, with detectives searching for a second person in relation to the incident.

Police believe it was a targeted attack.
